A Message from Our Chapter President

It is with extreme pride that I welcome you to the official website of the Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. As Chapter President, I am honored to serve during this exciting 2025–2027 biennium, standing on the legacy of excellence built by trailblazing leaders before me and committed members alongside me.
Our chapter’s story began in 1924, when Founder Frederica Chase Dodd chartered Dallas Alumnae, making it one of the earliest and most historic alumnae chapters in the Sorority. Over the course of a century, we have remained a constant force for good—uplifting our communities through meaningful programming, advocacy, and outreach. Our 2024 Centennial Celebration honored 100 years of powerful, purpose-driven service and positioned us to soar into the next century.
With over 500 committed members, our chapter brings a wealth of talent, wisdom, and energy to advance the Sorority’s mission. We proudly champion Delta Sigma Theta’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, which frames our work and ensures relevance in today’s ever-evolving landscape:
- Economic Development
- Educational Development
- International Awareness and Involvement
- Physical and Mental Health
- Political Awareness and Involvement
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a sisterhood of over 300,000 college-educated women, united by a shared commitment to public service, leadership, and social justice. With more than 1,000 chapters worldwide, our impact stretches across the globe—and right here in the heart of Dallas, our chapter continues to lead with purpose and power.
This site is designed to serve as both a resource and a reflection of who we are. Here, you’ll find highlights of our programs, upcoming events, chapter initiatives, and opportunities to collaborate and connect.
If you are a member of Delta Sigma Theta and are seeking a chapter that is active, inclusive, and committed to impact—we invite you to make Dallas Alumnae your home. With multi-generational representation and a spirit of true sisterhood, there is a place for every Soror here.
Thank you for visiting our digital home. We invite you to return often, stay informed, and walk alongside us as we continue to build, serve, and lead.
In sisterhood and service,
Eureka Drayden
