Webinar Speakers

Kenya Evans, MS, LPC-Associate, LBSW (Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate and Licensed Social Worker)
 Kenya is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate and a Licensed Social Worker. Kenya holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater and a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from University of North Texas at Dallas. Kenya has twenty-seven plus years working in the social service field where she has worked in management, as a state contractor, and for the past fourteen years in the educational school system.

Kenya currently serve as a district intervention counselor and work part-time as a therapist with Hamilton Counseling and Consulting LLC. Kenya also oversees a state-funded case management program that assists families with advocating for their child’s academic and social emotional needs.

Kenya loves serving the community so in her spare time, Kenya volunteers and donates non-perishable food bags to a non-profit organization that feeds and provides basic needs to the homeless population.

Kenya is also co-founder of a scholarship foundation in memory of her daughter where they provide financial stipends to students with intellectual disabilities who are interested in furthering their education beyond high school.

Kenya has been married to her wonderful husband for twenty-four years and has two beautiful daughters.

Her passion is working with the entire family unit by helping them navigate through systems and provide them with the tools to utilize their voice to be an advocate for their family.

Dr. Nelina Moffett (Owner, Resolve Wellness)
Dr. Nelina Moffett received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master’s in Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. Once obtaining licensure as a professional counselor, she earned her doctorate in Community Care and Counseling from Liberty University, where she is also an Adjunct Professor for the School of Behavioral Sciences.

Dr. Moffett has been in clinical practice for over 14 years and has presented for various local and national organizations, including the American Counseling Association and Texas Counseling Association. She has a strong interest and research focus on controlling images and stereotypes impacting Black Women.

Dr. Moffett owns a private practice, Resolve Wellness, in Dallas, TX, where she also supervises Counseling Students and Associates. In her spare time, Dr. Moffett spends time mentoring young adult women emerging into adulthood, engaging the community in various health-focused initiatives, feeding the homeless, or at the airport, boarding a flight to see and experience God’s creation.

Shundria Riddick, MA, LPC (Speaker and Licensed Professional Counselor)
Shundria Riddick is a speaker and licensed professional counselor who shares a message of hope and freedom in Christ. Shundria holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and is Licensed in the State of Texas. She has spent the last several years in the trenches of parenting, working, and growing her own business.

Like the typical woman, she has juggled all of these things while dealing with the emotional and mental battles of life's daily issues. Shundria currently has a robust Private Practice in Coppell, Texas that offers Virtual counseling, Educational groups, and Life Coaching. Speaking and writing have been her passions for years. She has the phenomenal ability to disarm any audience as she encourages them to live a life in FREEDOM!
